The Mariposa Mountain Riders is a horse club

in Mariposa California. The main focus is in preserving riding trails, promoting better horsemanship, supporting legislation which will

benefit horsemen, supporting horse related

activities and social activities for our members.

If you like to trail ride, show your horse, play

games, go to clinics and have fun with a great

group of people, join us!

Trail Rides;

Organized Trail Rides take our members through some of the most beautiful countryside in the area.

These days rides typically last 3-4 hours riding time with a break for lunch. Once or twice a year the club may plan an overnight camp out and trail ride,which has proven to be popular with the members.

Horse Shows;

Several times a year Western/Gymkhana horse shows are held. These shows have a wide variety of classes offered for various age groups and are open to any breed of horse and all levels of rider. Horse shows are being held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.

Parades

Competing in local parades our members love to show off their horses !

Member Appreciation Days;

A relaxed event wherein we get together and run various horseback games. Great food and a wonderful time for the whole family whether you ride or not.
